Toronto Pearson is aware of a motor vehicle incident outside Terminal 3 earlier this morning. Peel Police and Peel Paramedics are on scene. Some of the inner curb lanes outside T3 departures are closed to drivers for the investigation. The airport remains open and there is no impact on operations.

If you're travelling through Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson, you may be screened using @catsa_gc’s new CT X-ray technology. This system allows passengers to keep large electronics, medical devices, and approved liquids, like aerosols, and gels in their carry-on baggage, streamlining the screening process through security. Did you know Toronto Pearson is home to over 1 million honeybees? 🐝 Through our #YYBeez program, we’ve transformed unused green space near the runways into a thriving habitat for honeybees — supporting urban biodiversity, pollinator health, and sustainable agriculture right here at Canada’s busiest airport. Our YYBeez program illustrates our commitment to environmental stewardship, community education, and sustainability in action. This year, we partnered with the Malton Youth Hub to decorate the beehive boxes, making the project even more meaningful for the local community. Our beekeeper, Kuldip Jassal and youth from the Malton Youth Hub spoke about Toronto Pearson's YYBeez program and the newly decorated hives.

Due to a Peel Police investigation outside Terminal 1 departures, passengers and vehicles are being rerouted to enter and exit through T1 arrivals. We will provide updates throughout the morning.

Toronto Pearson staff are currently conducting a thorough inspection of the runway to assess damage, with the goal of reopening as soon as possible. Safety is always our top priority.

Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.
