I just got done installing a chandelier at an older customers house and let me tell you, I completely understand why all these protests are full of retirees. They had MSNBC on the whole time I was there. About an hour of nothing but, "Trump is a mentally deranged lunatic who is unfit for office." Full of misrepresentations, half truths, and flat-out lies. It is no surprise that their generation has been so radicalized against this administration. I don't speak about politics at work, but I was very tempted to introduce them to the alternative media available here on X. Maybe next time.
