It’s clear the Liberal Party reflects Eastern Canadian elites and Chinese interests, while the Conservative Party aligns with Western Canadian elites and Indian interests. Each prioritizes its own base, with little concern for the rest of the country. Then there’s the Bloc.

@Borealiac @CrimCartier Hitler frequently contradicted himself. In the case of Charlemagne though it was more recognition of Charlemagne as a great leader not because he was a Christian. With Himmler it was because Hitler thought his esoteric spiritualism was stupid.

He’s a dumbass, I agree, but just remember that Hitler and Mussolini—while nominally Catholic—very much saw Christianity as a wet noodle religion that ran counter to the fundamentals of fascism.
Hitler said he would have preferred the Franks lost at Tours.

Periodic reminder that the only reason we have a Charter (and thus unchecked euthanasia, race-based criminal justice, undeportable foreign gangs, etc.) is because some SoCreds spitefully voted down Joe Clark's 1979 budget because they didn't think he was conservative enough. Every single one of them would have taken it back if they could have been shown the consequences.
