The last time we were under a level 4/5 Moderate Risk was back on August 7th, 2023! The storms produced intense straight-line wind damage, which knocked down 30+ utility poles in Westminster!

NEW: Maryland is more than a billion dollars over budget in its upcoming budget. The state's shortfall is projected to continue.
According to the Department of Legislative Services the biggest issue has been cuts to federal spending in the state.
This does not include the impacts from the current shutdown which will negatively impact Maryland.
