During colonialism, Pokot Mau Mau intelligence units advised Pokots to secretly boil potatoes before planting them so that they don't germinate. A night before planting, the potatoes were secretly boiled. No harvest for British colonial land robbers. There were many diverse clandestine acts of covert resistance across what became Kenya so that what happens? So that Mzungu Arudi Ulaya, Mwafrika Apate Uhuru = MAU MAU. Whoever was involved in resisting and organizing against the British colonial land robbers in the territories that became Kenya is Mau Mau. Some histories and peoples are known, yet some are unknown. Resistance was to eject the British from African lands. But a snake oil merchant selling ethnic poison wants Kenyans to believe that only Kikuyu were fighting to eject the British from their fertile lands, and, that the British were only ejected using an English dictionary recited in Lancaster by two Luo elites. All our ancestors made a contribution towards MAUMAU including Pokots, Luhya, Kamba, Kalenjin, Luo and others. Jaramogi and Mboya would agree. Anyway, I grew up in the maize plantations of West Pokot. I lived in Kapenguria for many moons. I often visited the Kapenguria Seven (not six!) jail. Whenever we had visitors at home, I took them there, took a huge key from a police officer, and we walked around the jail. Wacha niende mimi Mungu mwema. I will whisper other stories unto your ears later. Na Mchague David Maraga. This time sitachoma bet. Last time iliungua🥲. ⚖️

@KenyanSays The announcement in red at the bottom is very loud. Maybe if they started with that VCT centre, airport works would have progressed much sooner. We may never know

So today we are changing the rear diff. Not because it's bad, but because we want something with better gear ratios for both highway and off road. We will also change the transfer case. Considering that we already upgraded the gearbox from a 4 speed to a 5 speed, the only other things left are diff locks and mud terrain tires. It will be baaaaaad for @ISokwala this April.

The once lively, vibrant, and beautiful county has now turned into a dead town. I passed through Nakuru last night, and my heart melted. It is now a deserted place. This is the town I grew up in. I lived in London, Whitehouse, Racecourse, and Naka for almost 20 years. It has taken only three years to destroy this county. The only development you can see in Nakuru is a hotel built next to State House, owned by the governor. I weep for my childhood city.🤦🏽‍♂️

Gentlemen: Women of this Generation are brutal and extremely Dangerous. The man you see here is called Zirayo Okole, one might think he's suffering from malaria kubwa, but Nope. Our brother traveled to the UAE in search of greener pastures after life took a toll on him back home, where he had a wife and a child in Kampala. He began working as a construction laborer, where he built his physique by carrying simiti from the ground floor all the way to the top floors of UAE skyscrapers. After three years, he was promoted to a watchman once the building was completed, thanks to his muscular physique. After working for one year as a mgoja kifo, he was promoted to a bouncer in one of security firms in Dubai. Our brother had a good relationship with the Arab people, because during his time as a bouncer, a Dubai prince noticed him and poached him to become his gym trainer. That is how he secured a well-paying job, where he worked for six years until last year. Every month, he used to send 20,000 dirhams, equivalent to about KSh 700,000- to his wife back home to build a house and invest. He did this for six years and seven months, meaning he sent home nearly KSh 55 million. When converted into Ugandan currency, this made him a billionaire back home. He was earning over KSh 1 million monthly as a personal trainer to a prince. He returned to Uganda last year only to discover that his wife had sold all the properties he worked so hard to acquire over more than ten years and she was already married to someone else. The shock broke him, pushed him into drugs and alcohol, and is now slowly dying inside. Today, the man who survived years of hard labor in the UAE is fighting for his life at home, a broken soul, destroyed not by poverty, but by betrayal, shock, and addiction. So cabrons, never ever trust a woman with your money. I repeat, NEVER EVER TRUST A WOMAN WITH YOUR MONEY. Chesaa!!!

Amorim was sacked for standing up to the board, not for results. If you are celebrating him being sacked, you need to think about that. Good luck to the new manager (whoever that may be). He’s got no chance with this toxic fanbase. #MUFC #ManUtd

You wanted Amorim gone. You got it. Don’t cry when nothing changes. This club won’t heal until the fanbase stops eating its own. Another manager sacrificed. Well done INEOS 👏

Achraf Hakimi’s ex-wife, Hiba Abouk, is said to have apologised and expressed regret over filing for divorce. The apology is said to have come shortly after PSG extended Hakimi’s contract, increasing his salary from £10m to £28m per year 🤣

Merry Christmas dear Kenyans, except those who overlap on our roads and politicos who rob us daily then dish out foodbags to prove famine and poverty are manmade. 🎄 May 2026 be kinder to those who are sincere; with more abundance, more justice, more love wherever aridity reigns.
