I've had a front-row seat to everything WPForms shipped this year, and I still didn't realize how much it added up to until I saw it in one place. We just published a recap of the road to WPForms 2.0: the AI form builder, a run of new integrations, a conversion toolkit with form abandonment, and then Form Analytics, the piece that ties it together. Most of it is stuff people already own and have never switched on. I built the analytics proof of concept at a hackathon, so I'm biased toward that one, but what got me was how much stacked up over a single year without anyone stepping back to look at it. This one started at a Hackathon last year. I overheard two people talking about form analytics, and since I'm a data guy I said hell yeah and built a working proof of concept before the day was out. The team took it from there: design, research, dev, infra. It took some time, but today it's live in WPForms 2.0. Form Analytics tracks every view, interaction, and conversion right inside your WordPress dashboard, with field-level insights, conversion goals, and an AI chat you can ask anything about your form data. I shared my team's Q3 plan with my manager at maybe 40% done. On purpose. My default is the opposite: think through everything (rubber ducking with AI ofc) until it feels complete, then show it. That usually helps, but this time I wanted a human lens before spending hours in scenarios that might never come. Within 30 minutes I had 8 questions back that reshaped the plan and I'm not sure five more hours of solo editing would have surfaced any of that. Maybe they would, maybe not. AI made over-preparing cheap, so hiding in solitary polishing is easier than ever. But if you've used AI enough, you can anticipate the questions it will make, even if you prompt it to impersonate someone else. The human in the loop is still important, and sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can catch what more tokens can't.

15 years ago I built my first WordPress site for a client. It was my first time using WordPress, and after learning the basics, picking a theme and configuring the whole thing, I was ready to deliver it and get paid. There was a problem: the site only existed on my computer, on localhost with WAMP (some of you might remember that one). I had no idea how to put it online, and I couldn't finish the job until I did. So I googled it and found an article called something like "How to move WordPress from local server to a live site". The FTP way, remember FileZilla? That article was from @wpbeginner, which turns 17 today. I never would have guessed that my WordPress journey would start with a WPBeginner article, and that years later I'd be working at Awesome Motive with @syedbalkhi, the guy who not only founded that blog but probably wrote that exact article back then. I'm happy to see Claude introducing this feature, even thought it might affect my own product: handoff.host. However, if you aren't in one of those Claude plans, use any other AI Agent, or you don't wanna be locked into a specific vendor, try it. It's free for now during the beta.

It's been a week since Anthropic pulled access to Fable. I went back to Opus 4.8 for my own work and didn't notice much of a difference. My day-to-day runs about the same as before. But some people did incredible things with Fable in the few days it was up. The Superpowers team pointed it at their own build loop and came out 50% faster and 60% cheaper: blog.fsck.com/2026/06/15/Sup… Now I keep wondering how long until the next jump like that. Anthropic again, a competitor, maybe an open-source model this time? I don't know where it comes from, but I'm up for the competition.

I asked Claude to build a World Cup prediction form on my WordPress site. Name, the two finalists, who lifts the trophy, the top goal scorer (hopefully it's Messi). A few seconds later it was sitting in my WPForms builder, every field placed, ready to publish. I never opened the form builder once. That's what WPForms shipped today: your AI assistant can now build and edit forms, not just read them. It runs on the new WordPress Abilities API, so it works with Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor, and the build-and-edit part is free in Lite.

@erickfogtman @santtiagom_ Ese mismo. El problema es que la estructura de URL es igual en todos los casos. Si alguien no lo borra, se podría adivinar su welcome, conseguir su api key y pisarle un archivo existente con una versión ligeramente modificada 😬

esto de Vercel me encantó. hoy se está usando HTML para todo. reportes, documentación, dashboards, demos generadas por IA. muchas veces terminabas pasando archivos en vez de una URL. ahora con Vercel: 1) entras a Drop 2) arrastrás una carpeta o un zip 3) obtenés una URL listo, ya está online y lo podés compartir con cualquiera.
