was at a few bookshops yesterday looking at the design section still seems most material that engages with the discipline’s wider context does so with a defeatist attitude: how capital formation and consumer culture are inherently prohibitors to a fulfilling and impactful practice which is weird because my lived experience tells a different story. you may not like those restrictions but they are the vehicles to get your ideas out take it or leave it; there are beautiful things out there to be made
