Major winter storm ramping up in the Rockies - extreme impacts expected with 1-2 feet of snow in NM mountains and eastern Colorado. Denver area seeing heavy snow today, then attention shifts to NM where 24+ inches possible in higher terrain through Saturday. Blowing snow will make travel dangerous.
