I’ve long suspected the flash forward at the start of the final season was meant to infer President McGarry and a dead Santos, but because John Spencer died in real life, they had to edit it as a mystery because the writers didn’t know who was going to win the election.

@PrincessMuppet The Muppets should be like the superhero universes, Bond, or Star Trek. There should ALWAYS be a movie in DEVELOPMENT. Some final movies may stink, but they should be moving right along to the next one. It’s CRAZY to me that anyone would think “Well, those are done.”
