@NBCSports I think somebody like @CC_Sabathia or @45PedroMartinez should go to @DrivelineBB to find out whether they could have gotten more out of their pitches (velo, movement, sink, etc)
Would be fascinating to see how much tech is playing a part today and whether it’s overkill.

Mallard Creek boys track and field was disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct after winning the 4x400 relay in the final event of the day. Had the result stayed, the Mavericks would have won the team state championship. Instead, they remained in second place.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ I live in Texas with 90% humidity. Use to go to Vegas for College Football opening weekend and the temps were routinely 105-108. That's like 98 in Texas. I remember walking in front of Caesar's when it was 105 thinking this isn't that bad when there is 0 humidity.

This man is in Phoenix, Arizona visiting his daughter. It is 108* there!🥵
He noticed this unit on top of her house and wondered why it isn’t on the ground like most houses. He asked her and she said that was the way it was when they bought the house.
Why would this be on top of the roof? I’ve lived in 5 different states and never seen them on the roof.
And notice how big it is, it’s huge!

The Diamondbacks opted not to re-sign LHP Jalen Beeks this offseason. Beeks signed a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Texas Rangers, and has a 1.84 ERA in 14.2 innings this season.

@Gambo987 Need to go to a 6-man rotation until Burnes is ready. Nobody is truly reliable so I don’t want to hear you can’t mess up their routine. They haven’t earned a routine and it would at least force them to eat 5-6 innings even getting slapped around.

Starting pitching a major problem no one says it’s not - they don’t throw enough strikes. These are veteran pitchers they need to figure it out.

The front office is doing whatever it can to push away from the pitching staff being DEAD LAST IN TEAM ERA. Full court press getting the media to blame the offense. Carroll has .890 OPS (.883 last year) Perdomo is hitting .309 in his last 15 games!

Here’s the problem Tommy boy.
1) He’s making $5m at Tech so unless they can his deal he’s not leaving that money
2) The most recent 1st round draft pick in supplemental draft was in 1992. If you’re talking “decades” that’s what it would require because you’ve had multiple 2nd round pick since 2000
3) Teams will LOSE the draft pick of whatever round Sorsby would be taken in. You’re going to tell me teams are willing to lose a 1st rounder for a clear risk that wouldn’t move up for Ty Simpson?

@MrAzSports Gallen drove me insane today. Nibbling and pitching for strikeouts instead of throwing middle middle fastballs & early contact especially with wind howling in. Impossible to hit it out of Wrigley in those conditions consistently.
