High School Soccer All-American Game

@ChilandSoccer Kinda cool that the 4 teams left with a chance to win a state title in class 2 and 3 all played in Bettendorf in the Great River Classic. Testing yourself against different styles of play has its benefits

What a turn of events. After we announced we would cancel, we received some inquiries and lo and behold received some generous donations. The 2025 game WILL HAPPEN! The date will be Dec 13th hopefully in Charleston, SC

Due to not being able to secure funding, the 2025 high school soccer All-American game has been cancelled. We will see what 2026 brings. It’s unfortunate that it has come to this after 14 years

The 2024 game is looking for a title sponsor or co-title sponsor. If you know of someone who would be interested, please send me a message. This is a great event that needs to keep going

Great job by the Kansas boys in the HS All American game today! They were a part of the winning side 5-2! Congrats to them and Coach Ramirez who helped coach the West team!

With apologies to @ColonelLittle7 who had nothing to do with the process but how can you take this team seriously with no offensive linemen named?

@CarliLloyd 10,000 boys and girls every year don’t play HS soccer because they are part of a DA team. Of these 10,000, fifty total may make the senior level men and women’s team. The system is broken and needs fixed. But they won’t. Too much $$ would be lost. I could tell some stories.

@CarliLloyd US Soccer federation did this to itself with the development of the DA. In women, the ECNL was getting it done and the federation saw the $$$$ and instead of working with it, chose to rival it. The DA in boys and girls was supposed to make us better. How’s that working out for ya

This also needs to be discussed and to not turn a blind eye.

It’s pretty sad when you run a score up on a team and then turn the comments button off after you bragged about it. Probably shouldn’t have played them in the first place
