Like CRD-based APIs, Declarative-friendly GCP APIs have a single method to update the resource, rather than many ad-hoc methods to update different properties (I'm looking at you GCE Instances - #rest-resource:-v1.instances" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">cloud.google.com/compute/docs/r…)

Using Encapsulation, you have to invoke code to change an object's data. With Declarative Configuration, you have to change an object's data to invoke its code.
