@MattPiperJenks @NjTank99 As Michael Scott once said, “I captivated the guy who captivated 1,000 guys.” Jenks, you have inspired the guy who has inspired thousands of people. Well done to both of you. Keep it up!

@RomeovilleKid Rewiring your brain as a fan is not an easy thing to do lol. As we move forward in the NIL era in college, I think fans in general will become a little more desensitized to this process at all levels.

@erikpearson38 Yup, I think it’s all to gain leverage. And yeah, fans probably should try to remember that the player is acting as an individual FIRST. Gotta look out for yourself and then look out for the “team,” especially if it’s the first time you’re getting paid a lot. Nothing personal.

#Colts FA WR Alec Pierce: “That’s what I’m most excited about … getting a big contract. The coaches and the front office know they have to back up that contract, so I’m no longer gonna be an 80-target player. … They’re gonna have to throw me the ball more.” 🎥 @UpAndAdamsShow

@RomeovilleKid I lasted longer than you but I feel the same way. So many moments for characters to learn lessons but they end up doubling down on their worst traits. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for a show that makes me feel like I’m the bad person for watching it lol.

“Hey, how about we all do hard drugs and make really terrible decisions over and over again?” Also, everyone in the show is an awful person. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. But hey, everything ain’t for everybody, so maybe this show just ain’t for me.

Question: What is the point of Industry on HBO? I saw a few people raving about this show, so I fired it up. I’m on episode 7 of season 1, and I just don’t understand what I’m supposed to gain from this (if I’m supposed to gain anything at all). This show is a hot mess.

@IUJGray The video montage before the starting lineups were announced was terrific. Blending the fond memories of each generation and owning our collective history as a program. It allowed for our lineup’s video to be about this individual team. Well done!

@IUJGray All of the pain and hard times we have endured and all of the adversity our players have overcome makes ‘Hurts So Good’ the perfect choice. National titles earned like this truly hurt so good.

Yes. ‘Hurts So Good’ is here to stay. Credit goes to an unnamed stadium DJ in Pasadena. And Mr. Mellencamp of course.

Bloomington's Will Klein just brought home a World Series ring after recording the win in one of the most epic games in MLB history. "I don't know what it is about Hoosiers. But where ever you go there is always a Hoosier doing something very important there." -Kurt Vonnegut Yup.

@Jomboy_ I would not be surprised if Devin Williams is traded as a part of a deadline move. Reminds me a lot of Sonny Gray. Awkward fit. They could throw Weaver back in there along with another arm via trade and try like crazy to get another bat.

@CoachAdragna @RumorsandRants Sustained hope requires consistent investment. I will have hope for the program when those in charge take bold action to refuse mediocrity and use the power that IUBB possesses to reach the expectations we all have. Without that action, I cannot have hope.

I think the majority would agree it’s a steep hill to climb for IU next season to be where they want to be. I’ll end my discourse on why I don’t think another Woody season is a good idea, because people that make more money than me to make those decisions think differently. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ll turn my focus on here & in the film room to how Indiana can climb that steep hill, in my opinion, of course. Here’s to hoping.

@RumorsandRants When you don’t play an exciting/modern brand of basketball it’s hard to project improvement. We can’t say that plugging in better players will help because the style of play is not conducive to winning at the highest level of college basketball.

My question for Indiana fans is this: forget this season, what has you excited about the direction of the program moving forward? Do you see things getting better in the next, say, 3 years? This isn’t bait, I’m genuinely curious. #iubb

@AssemblyCall It’s one thing to struggle, it’s another to struggle while playing a style that is not conducive to winning modern basketball games. I suppose what is obvious to most is not obvious to Woody and Co. because if it was I tend to think we’d see a tiny bit of progress.

If you want to know why IU fans are frustrated, it's because we're 15 minutes into a tough road game, and we've attempted five long 2s without getting our best shooter even one 3-point attempt. That's just not a winning ratio, especially with Kel'el out.

@AssemblyCall As a 32-year old who only remembers the 2002 final four and not the successes prior, I suppose my perspective is different. Yesterday was a lost opportunity, but every game is not an indictment of the program as a whole.

@erikpearson38 Trying to meet an individual team where it is at any given point in a season, while also trying to hold onto the standards that have made this program special, can be very challenging. 12+ years in of doing the show, and it’s easily the biggest struggle.

Your team can deliver an encouraging performance but end up with an unacceptable result. Your team can also play poorly but end up with a fortunate win. Please let's try not be so simple-minded that we're incapable of having worthwhile conversations that acknowledge this.
