2 weeks ago my team and I spent most of our time in the Claude desktop app trying to collaborate on Claude projects. As I started dabbling in Notion AI agents, I quickly realized this was the software layer that was missing between myself, my team, and AI. We were already building our knowledge base and skills inside of Notion databases because I think it has the best UI for interacting with your data from a human standpoint. But trying to build and maintain Claude projects for a team quickly became a mess. Notion gives us the ability to build specialized agents we can then share with others in our departments. The fact these agents can also run on automated triggers and schedules is another massive improvement over the Claude app. Finally, I've actually been experiencing better results using GPT 5.5 in Notion than Opus 4.7. What I love about this is I feel like Notion gives you the flexibility to bounce between models depending on which model is performing the best any given day.

It is 10 PM on Sunday, and this will be my final post on this matter. Over the weekend, I was contacted by Bloomberg regarding a "certain party." I immediately recognized the implications for our industry. 1/ I am the last person to speak ill of this space; I have always defended it. "The artist’s freedom to create". Whether this event was a systemic failure or a catastrophic administrative error, one thing was clear: the article was coming, and the headline would be damaging. Lacking a direct line to the relevant PR teams to issue a preemptive apology, I chose to write the critique myself, attempting to provide context before the narrative was set in stone. 2/ What followed was a disturbing study in hypocrisy. Instead of accountability or course correction, my post was met with a wave of coordinated harassment. The contrast is startling: while the AI community moves in unison to protect its marketing leads from "online abuse," I watched as crypto-native accounts actively tagged the same individuals to incite further harassment against me. From "engagement-farming" influencers to operators using legal threats to silence discourse, the reaction proved that this space has a long way to go. 3/ As predicted, the "strip club" headline has become the definitive narrative, fueling bearish sentiment across the sector. Key decision-makers - those who deploy institutional capital and manage high-quality IPs - are reading this coverage tonight. The hard work of thousands of builders and the legitimacy of billions in capital have been compromised by one marketing team's lack of judgment. Was it all worth it? Well. $300B worth of gaming IPs waiting to come on chain, and I seem to be the only one left doing it. Back to building. 🎙️

1/ This year’s official @consensus2026 closing party by @CoinDesk was a massive step backward. Hosting the flagship event at E11even — a strip club — wasn't just inappropriate; it was incredibly low-brow for an industry trying to grow up. 2/ Let’s be clear: I’m all for alcohol, music, and a good time. Hire a world-class DJ. Throw a massive rave. Go to Club Space. But choosing a strip club as the official venue for a global conference is a choice that reflects poorly on all of us. 3/ Just because this happened in 2021 doesn't mean it should happen in 2026. Back then, Coinbase, FTX and Binance execs were there, but the industry has evolved. We are supposed to be moving toward institutional maturity, not leaning into "bro-culture" clichés. 4/ I’ve always been an advocate for sex work. I have zero issue with women making $40k–$80k on their own terms. The issue is the context. 5/ When an official event for a top-tier conference — filled with institutional partners and people of all genders and religions — centres on women shaking for dollars, it diminishes women to sexual objects and enforces a stale, exclusionary culture. 6/ It’s honestly boring. I guarantee brands like @MetaMask and CoinDesk will one day look back at their logos plastered on those walls with genuine embarrassment. 7/ We had international attendees flying in from across the globe. Is this really the best US crypto has to offer? Working the pole is a skill, but watching it in a professional context just left most people looking dazed and awkward. 8/ The vibe was off. I ran into my banker and some mid-tier hedge fund guys there. We can talk millions on Wall Street or over steak, but meeting at a strip club is unnecessary. We could’ve hit a polo club, a baseball box, or played padel. 9/ Even the economics were a "bear market" vibe. Most people were just watching with a mix of shock and intrigue. The girls weren't making much. They used to take crypto; now they don't. The floor was dry. No fiat moving. Why were we even there? 10/ Seeing a banker film the stage (until security stepped in) while seeing my bankers logos walk around in a strip club is the peak of industry cognitive dissonance. 11/ This industry is capable of so much more, yet we keep tripping over our own feet. We want to be taken seriously on the world stage, but we’re still acting like we’re in a basement. We must do better. Special shoutout to @SolanaFndn, @amystreet, and @SuperteamUSA. Your Accelerate vibe was immaculate, paired with the best Mario Kart-themed afterparty. 🏎️💨 It was the perfect illustration that "crypto culture" doesn’t have to mean "bro culture." You can have high-energy, high-intelligence fun without… whatever E11even was. Let’s talk economics: A single sponsorship for that E11even event costed roughly $90k. The entire Mario Kart event? Maybe $50k. Using a massive brand budget to alienate half your audience is a spectacular waste of capital. 📣📣📣 Conference organizers and sponsors: we have to do better. If we want to move millions on Wall Street, we need to stop acting like we belong in a basement. ✌️

Rockstar spent $256M to build GTA 5 in 2013. It's now done $10 billion in revenue. The shallow-water boat mechanic in this clip is exactly why. 225 million copies sold. 22 million monthly active players in year 13. Still pulling $500 million+ annually. No entertainment product has ever had this shape of tail. The reason hides in the clip. Rockstar built a fluid simulation with a city around it. Water depth affects boat behavior in places the mission critical path never takes you. Nobody at a normal studio ships code like that. It doesn't move a single review score. It doesn't sell a single copy at launch. It sits there waiting for year 12. That's the actual product. The density of background systems that reward attention long after the story is cooked. Every other open-world game asks "did you beat it?" GTA 5 asks "did you find it?" Take-Two is reportedly spending over $1 billion on GTA 6. The Street keeps asking why the budget is so high. Because the tail IS the product. $256M to build, 13 years of $500M+ revenue, that math only works when the simulation has more depth than any player will exhaust. November 19, 2026. GTA 6 ships into the exact same model. Buy once, generate cash for 15 years. 225 million copies. Still finding new things in year 13. That's the moat.

After 12 years of playing GTA 5, players are still discovering new things. You can cruise a boat through the shallow water in the river 👀

PSA: after 4 years at @WalletConnect, I'm passing the baton and am excited to glance at an empty calendar. It's been an awesome ride building WalletConnect into this core pillar of the ecosystem. I certainly have some learnings and scar tissue when it comes to building SDKs now... it also required a non-traditional CTO - at peak I'd have 20 meetings with partners in a single day. I'm bullish on WalletConnect's future, especially WalletConnect Pay - cards are a crutch and WalletConnect Pay is the solution. Stoked to cheer from the sidelines going forward. Huge gratitude for my all-star engineering and product team: @nachorivera7, @lukaisailovic, @Huxwell_, @jakubuid, @nuldiego, @RocchiTomas, Mario, @0xmagkha_, Mirna, @nachosantise, @0xGancho, @saitamoe, @enesozturkdev, @svennxyz, Ivan, @mechris13524, Felipe, @rplusq, @geek_maks, Alex, Cheun, @skibitsky, @CryptoProdMan, Nodar. And to the WalletConnect Council, the rest of the team across design, QA, ops, BD, and marketing. And to Rachel, @Cgmirror, and @Dolcemaschio for being awesome exec counterparts. And to @Houlgrave for building this together the past few years. And of course last but not least to @pedrouid for bringing me onboard and trusting me with this responsibility. Riaz is stepping in to lead the team and I couldn't be more pumped. He's a seasoned payments tech exec and I'm glad we were able to convince him to join us. I feel very lucky to have built and been part of such an awesome team which makes saying goodbye to so damn hard. Thank you all!

i got my whole genome sequenced two years ago and forgot about it. last week i told my ai agent (@laukiantonson) to dig up my DNA files • it dug up a two-year-old email • found the download link • pulled down 67 gigabytes of raw DNA. • rented a 32-core, 64GB machine for a few hours — total cost: $5 • aligned 21 million long reads to the human reference genome — 99.83% mapped • called 5.8 million genetic variants using a two-pass neural network • phased every variant — separated maternal vs paternal inheritance • annotated all 5.8M variants against ClinVar, PharmGKB, and gnomAD • corrected for population-specific bias in the medical literature • health risk map across 39 conditions flagged in every body system • drug compatibility guide for 141 medications color-coded by genome response • nutrient metabolism - 71 variants affecting absorption of vitamins, minerals, iron • traits, ancestry going back 40,000 years, neanderthal DNA breakdown $5 in compute. 8 hours. no bioinformatician. no doctor. just one instruction. we've genuinely reached a point where an ai agent can take your raw genome and hand you back a full personal health profile in a single shot. i had no idea this was even possible.

Yesterday, I had the honour of attending my first @Nasdaq IPO and the privilege of ringing the bell alongside my colleague @donaldchua, who at this point feels like a franchise of his own, larger than the brand itself. This was not just our first Nasdaq IPO. It was the IPO of friends, partners, and a true benchmark for us: @CoinSharesCo. Congratulations to @jmmognetti, Benoît Pellevoizin, Daniel Masters, @CarolineDPham, Emily Mohr, Jérôme Castille, Pierre Porthaux, @jeremylebescont and the entire CoinShares team. It was inspiring to see one of the leading digital asset managers, backed by strong financials, trading positively on the day and positioned for long-term, meaningful growth. CoinShares has been building in this industry for over a decade, consistently innovating through both off-chain and now on-chain products, serving millions of retail users and helping drive the evolution of finance on-chain. We are proud to partner with such an exceptional team, first through @Kiln_finance on staking, and now with @railnet_org on on-chain asset management. They have supported us throughout cycles and market conditions alike. Yesterday also felt like a reminder of the level of ambition we should always aim for. JM, his board, his team, and his family are setting the standard and showing the path forward. We will take inspiration from it. Proud of you, frens 🫡

Short-term risk that just occurred to me re: Claude Mythos: If you’re a state or non-state actor with some zero-days you’ve been sitting on, you may conclude now is the time to use them before you lose them. Let’s hope this isn’t the case.
