The A Word on Netflix is superb. I can't begin to explain how much it resonates with me. It's happy and sad, emotional and funny. I wish I could follow more of Joe and his families journey. Well worth a watch.

I'm not doing very well at the moment, friends. I'm keeping my chin up and making the best of things, but I feel disconnected and stale, and my self-worth is a bag of crap. Before anyone starts about vitamins and levels and hormones, please stop right there - I'm not interested. I think I'm currently experiencing a new wave of grief and observing how it translates into my external world. Hopefully, it'll settle and dissipate soon. Could you please give me your good news? It might help cheer me up.

There’s a beautiful clear sky out there and millions of stars in the sky. I’m getting a bit mixed feelings on here lately Mayo say too much but anything I do say is just my own opinion. But some people really just grow up is all I can say. I may take a little break.

I hope you're all enjoying your Christmas/festive time. We did something we didn't think possible until recently, we went abroad! For the first time as a family, we went on a plane, and, we went to Dubai to visit family for Christmas. Boys enjoyed every second of it too!

@Killybegsgirl Lost a close friend on Christmas Day seven years ago and she left behind her four young children and husband. He has done a brilliant job bringing them up alone and making Christmas special for them but it’s so hard.

Aren’t deaths around now just awful to hear about? We’re all happy and jolly. I’m planning dinner and drinks etc and poor families dealing with the awfulness of losing loved ones. Really hits different around now I think.

@deirdrenugent4 You can get locks for bins that automatically open when lifted on bin truck, think they are magnetic but it’s another expense. There’s a website binminder.ie which explains it better

Does anyone have people going through their wheelie bins looking for bottles and cans? I just caught a guy going through mine. Ffs.
