- As of now, Galatasaray have not closed the file on Gueye but the chances are looking less Likely because Villarreal has made it clear they want €40m and Galatasaray wants a total package of €30m.
- Gueye said Yes to Galatasaray but he will not push to leave Villarreal. He’s Happy in Villarreal and he’s willing to stay till the end of the season and move later on.

Ajax has suspended John Heitinga with immediate effect. The head coach’s contract was due to run until June 30, 2027, but will now be terminated. The same applies to assistant coach Marcel Keizer. Ajax is looking for a new head coach; in the meantime, Fred Grim will take over Heitinga’s duties.
