Under what authority, which law or legal provision, or even a simple rule of the Rome statute, does a private citizen like Trillanes, derive power to arrest, harass, or cause undue harm to a sitting Senator of the Republic of the Philippines? Is he more powerful than our courts? Did the ICC deputize him to serve the warrant? Apparently, he knows more of the actions of the ICC than our state authorities.
