@esc1204 Once we receive the P60 details that will be sorted. I'd advise you to contact the income tax helpline as soon as you get your last pay slip from your current employer for this month. They'd be able to look into this for you straight away. Contact number is 0300 200 3300. Shoaib

@HMRCcustomers how have you worked out that I apparently underpaid tax? If anything, I overpaid.

@HMRCcustomers I haven't yet overpaid, this will be in effect from the next/upcoming tax year Obviously I want to avoid that happening before it starts.

@esc1204 If you've overpaid in tax we'd adjust your records accordingly and arrange for the refund to be sent out to you. Shoaib

@HMRCcustomers Hi! After doing some digging, it looks as if my previous employer noted on my P45 that I left in Month 10, but my Payslip is for the period of Month 11. This is where the error is. Please, what do I do now because I do not owe you tax!!

@HMRCcustomers What I don't understand though, is if my employer put the right information in, I wouldn't have been paying this tax I apparently owe you. I'm earning £3.5k less in this job, so my tax will be lower. I assume you'll rebate me this extra tax I apparently owe?

@esc1204 It's difficult to confirm as we don't have access to records here. The adviser on the helpline can see what the employer has submitted. Anas

@HMRCcustomers I did exactly that. I even gave it to them at the same time as my HMRC new starter form. I don't understand though, how they're saying they've set me up correct but your phone advisors said they haven't. It baffles me why I have to pay extra tax because of an admin error lol

@esc1204 We don't have access to records here, so it's impossible for me to see what happened, it does sound as if the new employer didn't use the previous pay and tax from the old employer. Did you pass a P45 from the old employer to the new one? Steve

@HMRCcustomers Hi, after to speaking to someone on the phone this morning, they advised that my new company have set me up as this being my first job since April 2025, which is incorrect. After having queried this with Payroll, they have said that they set me up correctly. Who's at fault?!

@OralB hi! I had to have my toothbrush repaired last year, you send a new one as you weren't able to repair. The replacement one has now completely died on me. This is 2 toothbrushes in 1.5 years that have just died. Tried hard reset. Nothing.

@esc1204 Thanks, Elise. Pesto will generally be made from pine nuts. We will always list in the ingredients but it isn't classed as a nut so won't be declared as an allergen. Is it this one tinyurl.com/553bjbtx? Pine kernels are listed in the ingredients. Emma
