On another note some great news, today my grandmas surgery for her bladder cancer went great! The doctors said they’ve never seen a healthier 82 yr old before and she’ll be able to go home tomorrow.

She’s now allowed to eat more solid foods which means no more yoghurt and apple puree! As for the future, the doctors have told us she will be moved to the neurology department for further monitoring.

Sorry for the late update, I was really busy the past few days. My mums condition hasn’t really improved much but she has stabilised. Her speech is still impaired and the right side of her body still isn’t moving however her average blood pressure has gotten a lot lower.

Great news, the surgeon has told us that the infundibulum is now fixed and there is blood flow. However during tests she suffered another stroke which will heavily impact her healing speed. Fortunately she won’t require anymore surgeries and they will be monitoring her for a week

She is going into her second surgery to remove the 2nd aneurysm and I’m just praying that she wakes up from this but I believe in her because she is the strongest person I know.

The first surgery was successful and they were able to remove the larger aneurysm. She was able to open her eyes and recognise us, however the right side of her body might be paralysed and her speech is slightly impaired.
