GREEN LIGHT By Kenneth E. Hagin Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. — ISAIAH 48:17 A pastor once asked me, “Brother Hagin, do you ever go to small churches?” I replied, “Yes, I’ll go anywhere the Lord says to go.” Then the pastor told me about his church and said, “If God ever speaks to you about it, we want you to come.” But I just dismissed his invitation. However, several months later when I was praying about something else, this conversation came back to me. Then every day it kept coming back. Finally, after about the fourth day, I said, “Lord, do You want me to go to that church?” And the more I’d pray about it, the better I’d feel on the inside of me about accepting that invitation. (This wasn’t a physical feeling — but one I recognized in my spirit.) Sitting by my bedside, Jesus referred to this. “The more you thought about it, the better you felt about it,” He reminded me. “You had a velvety-like feeling in your spirit. That’s the green light. That’s the go-ahead signal. That’s the witness of the Spirit to go. Now you see Me, and I’m telling you to go to that church. But I’m never going to lead you to go anywhere again like this. From now on, I’m going to lead you like I do every Christian — by the inward witness.” Confession: The Lord leads me in the way I should go. He leads me by the inward witness. “My husband was out of a job for 11 months, and he worked at my company and earned a salary. He told me we had to cut down our expenses, like selling one out of the 2 cars, and reducing our domestic staffs” “After that conversation, he took up some responsibilities around the house. At some point, he did deliveries to some of my customers” “During this period, I was very careful of the things I say or do to him, because he might have been my employee but he was still my husband and my leader” - J Bums talks on how her husband worked in her company for the period he was out of a job. 🎥: Ife Agoro

@ChecheSkib33895 @JustEniola01 There was nothing to learn from your point. What is baffling is assuming that your perspective is the only perspective. To have missed the whole point of the discourse and take a position that has no bearing upon the confidentiality or perceived breach of same within this couple

@ChecheSkib33895 @JustEniola01 This happened very early on in their marriage and this interview is from time ago. He didn’t open the business for her and that’s even besides the point. This was a testimony of faith, endurance, humility and submission of both a Husband and a wife. When wise people listen, learn

All Ycee did was say the bitter truth about a topic a lot of people have been walking on eggshells around for years. The aggressive decline in the academic sector isn't talked about enough, not in a country where the Jamb cut off mark is now 150. Just 2010 here, anything below 200 will likely require you to retake the exam. Today, all the average mind cares about is "He's making his money, education na scam" then we wonder why people make poor decisions everyday that could affect the lives of others.

@Bilkis29 Please ensure that they’re not home alone for a long time after this ordeal. Some of these people can be evil, they might know the kids are alone, let’s reinforce and come back. God forbid but also be alert and proactive. Don’t take this lightly. May God protect your children.

Yesterday, I had a training programme and got home later than usual. I stopped by the Madrasa to pick up my children, and on our way home, my daughter said: "Mummy, something happened after we returned from school today." I immediately asked, "What happened?" She turned to her brother and said, "Tell mummy." Our children have a routine. As soon as they get home from school, they do their homework. Yesterday, they decided to sit at the balcony to study. My son: When we got home, I noticed a man and a woman entering our street. We entered the compound and locked the gate as usual. Less than 10 minutes later, while we were doing our homework on the balcony, I saw the same man moving up and down the street through our neighbour's fence. Suddenly, I heard someone say, 'Oya go,' and then there was a knock on our gate. "'Who is that?' I asked. The suspect: Your daddy sent me from his office to come and stay with you. My son: What code did my daddy give you to enter our gate? The suspect: He didn't give me any code. He only asked me to come and stay with you. Open the gate; I'm from his office. My son: If you don't leave this gate right now, I will shout kidnapper! The man left immediately. After that, my children left the balcony, locked the door, and stayed indoors until it was time for Madrasa. They were even brave enough to go to Islamiyyah. 😅 What makes this even more frightening is that they were alone at home, something that rarely happens. Usually, there's at least one adult around, but yesterday everyone had different engagements. I am deeply grateful to God for giving them the wisdom and presence of mind to handle the situation. Even though it happened in my absence, I am still in shock. Since last night, countless thoughts have been running through my mind. Parents and guardians, please remain vigilant. Beyond praying for our children, we must continually educate them about personal safety and the tactics criminals use to deceive unsuspecting victims. Teach them never to open the gate or door to strangers, no matter what story they tell. May God continue to protect our children, our families, and all of us. 🙏🏽
Bilkis@Bilkis29

Yesterday, a suspected kidnapper attempted to lure my children away from our home. It was a frightening experience and a stark reminder that we must remain vigilant at all times. If you are a parent or guardian in Nigeria, please do more than just pray for your children and wards. Constantly educate them about personal safety and remind them that not everyone they meet has good intentions. Teach them how to recognize danger, avoid suspicious situations, and seek help when necessary. Let's keep our children safe through awareness, open communication, and constant guidance.

Imagine fighting an institution for 19 years as a LAYMAN, forcing them to hand you a 2:1 certificate in open court at the Supreme Court, and winning ₦20,000,000. Though if adjusted for inflation its too small. He didn't just study Mechanical Engineering; by the end of it, he basically earned a Law degree too. Absolute legend.

Sued His University to the Supreme Court and Won ₦20,000,000! Case: Victor v. F.U.T.A. (2026) 8 NWLR (Pt. 2044) 33 Imagine graduating, knowing your grades were wrongly calculated, but being handed a lower class of degree than you earned. Most students would accept "fate" and move on. Mr. Adebayo A. Victor refused to back down. What makes this story incredible? Victor was a layman (not a lawyer), yet he personally prosecuted this case through the entire hierarchy of courts for nearly two decades. The 19-Year Battle for a 2:1 In 2007, Victor graduated in Mechanical Engineering from FUTA, receiving a Second Class Lower. Convinced his scores were wrongly recorded, he spent four years begging the university to re-mark 10 specific courses. The university ignored him. In 2011, he sued. The journey was brutal: 2013: The trial court dismissed his case on a technicality. Victor appealed and won a retrial. 2017: The High Court finally ordered FUTA to re-mark his scripts. FUTA refused and appealed. 2022: Under Supreme Court pressure, FUTA finally complied and re-marked the scripts. The Plot Twist: Victor was right all along. The independent re-marking officially upgraded his degree to a Second Class Upper. His correct certificate was physically handed to him in open court at the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court Defends Student Rights With the degree secured, the Supreme Court turned its attention to the university’s conduct. Led by Justice Helen Moronkeji Ogunwumiju, JSC, the apex court established a massive precedent: The Duty of Care: While universities have academic autonomy, they owe a "Duty of Care" to their students. They must provide fair assessments and transparent complaint procedures. The Penalty: By ignoring Victor for years and causing him to lose international scholarship opportunities, FUTA breached that duty. The lower court had awarded Victor a mere ₦500,000. The Supreme Court threw that out as too small and reviewed the awards upward: ₦18,000,000 in General Damages for emotional distress. ₦2,000,000 in Litigation Costs. Total Takeaway: Victor walked away with his rightful Second Class Upper degree and ₦20,000,000 in compensation. The Big Insight "Justice is not a fencing game where one party seeks to outsmart the other." Whether you run a university or a business, you cannot hide behind institutional bureaucracy to ignore legitimate complaints. Huge respect to Mr. Adebayo Victor for his unmatched resilience! Could you have held on for 15+ years to defend your academic rights? Let’s map it out in the comments! © Law Parlor

@OparaIfeanyiPa2 @kenkenlewu Igwe!!! Are you God? Only God’s counsel for their lives will be established. God can lift people in a day, choose faith and optimism? To say it will an abysmal failure is to assume a position that’s not yours. God remains author and finisher.

This morning, our church hosted a wedding. The groom is 42, the bride is 36; they'd been dating for three years. He'd traveled abroad, did well for a while, then came back to Nigeria with nothing left. Through all of it, she stayed. Our pastor told them to stop waiting and settle down. So they had a mini wedding during today's service. Then he announced that everything realised in church today would go to the couple. Before he even finished talking, people were already coming forward with more. By the end, the couple walked away with ₦2.3 million, two years' rent paid, and six new outfits each.🥰❤️
