Michael Carrick should get a 1 year extension, not a long term deal. It might seem disrespectful, but it really isn’t. He still has a lot to prove and he’d get the chance to do it at the club he loves. At the same time, the club needs to stop repeating the same mistakes over and over again, so it’s a deal that works for both sides.

Add value to yourself. Skills pay bills. Growth changes everything. Love, but with boundaries. Never tolerate disrespect in the name of love.
