After deliberation, the giveaway has been restructured.
Instead of 6 persons, 3 random Cameroonian mutuals on the TL will be picked to get their accounts verified so they can pursue monetisation and start earning. This is possible, and we can grow the community together.
Winners will be announced before the end of today.
Be on the lookout for updates from @jacky_tah as she will let you know who the three Mutuals will be.
Best of luck !!!!

Cameroon: Routier Forces Bus to Reverse on Douala–Yaoundé Highway, Passengers’ Lives at Risk
A shocking incident has raised fresh concerns about road safety and enforcement practices on Cameroon’s busiest highway.
On March 17, 2026, passengers aboard a Transcam VIP bus travelling along the Douala–Yaoundé highway, near Boumyebel, were reportedly put in danger after a road safety officer (prévention routière) ordered the driver to turn back and follow him, despite the presence of heavy-duty trucks on the road.
According to eyewitness accounts, the bus had initially been signalled to stop, but the driver did not notice. The officer then pursued the vehicle, intercepted it, seized the driver’s documents, and instructed him to reverse course—raising serious concerns about passenger safety.
Passengers say the decision exposed them to unnecessary risk on a highway known for high-speed traffic and frequent accidents.
This incident raises important questions:
👉 Are road safety practices themselves putting lives at risk?
👉 What accountability exists for such actions?

Trending 🤯🇨🇲🏟️
World-class football star, Kylian Mbappé, revealed in a video posted on his page last night that he plans to commence the construction of an ultra-modern stadium in his home country, Cameroon, as early as June 5, 2026.
Mbappé promises that this will be one of the finest stadiums in the world 🏟️✨.
There had been delays at the level of paperwork and in securing a suitable location for the stadium. However, after contacting the most trusted real estate company in Cameroon, Blue Bells Empire, Mbappé was able to secure a favorable piece of land in Buea spanning 150 hectares for the project.
Words are not enough to appreciate and praise Mbappé for this remarkable move.
May his days be long 😭🥳❤️🙏🔥🔥

Takang Ayuk Igal aka TK (aka One Kind Guy) @tkthereal1
Sunrise: 4th of October 1996 – Sunset: 23rd of March 2026
TK lived a life characterized by a boundless curiosity for a better tomorrow, quiet kindness, and a relentless sense of humor that he shared with everyone he came across. Born on October 4th, 1996, TK grew up with his family and completed his primary, secondary, and tertiary education across various cities in Cameroon. He eventually worked as a teacher at Nembicol and INSET Bonchou college, where he was known for his strong work ethic and simple, easygoing lifestyle. He was deeply committed and never stopped smiling or cracking jokes, no matter the circumstances he found himself in.
However, his true passion often lay outside of work. He was dedicated to uplifting others and putting smiles on faces in his own unique way. He contributed morally and financially to numerous 237 Twitter community-building projects (such as orphanage visits and the MISS237X IDP Project) as well as social events (237X hangouts and football encounters). To those who knew TK best, he will be remembered for many things, but here on Twitter, we all saw his efforts to build the community we have today. His jokes, interactions, his banter during "violence days," and most importantly his campaigns against bad governance and efforts to sensitize youths to register and vote will never leave our memories. He was also incredibly passionate about football, whether it was the Cameroonian national football team/league or his beloved Manchester United. TK had a unique ability to make any Cameroonian new to Twitter feel welcome and valued.
TK fell ill in November 2025 and had since been treated at Mbingo Hospital in Douala and the Regional Hospital in Buea, where he was diagnosed with advanced stage liver disease. He was placed on medication (alongside traditional treatments, according to his family). He fought hard to get back on his feet and be a part of us again. It looked like he was recovering and getting stronger over the last couple of weeks, but in the early evening hours of Monday, March 23rd, TK finally succumbed to the pain and gave up the ghost. TK is survived by his mum, one older brother, two sisters, an extended family, and a wide circle of friends who considered him a brother.
A service to celebrate TK’s life will be held in the coming days and will be properly communicated once the program is finalized. As we celebrate the life of Takang Ayuk Igal, let’s take a moment to keep his family in our prayers and dig deep into our pockets to help clear some of his hospital bills and cover the burial costs.
Rest in perfect peace, TK. You will be deeply missed, One Kind Guy.🕊️
(Done with the assistance and consent of the family) 🙏🏾

Bring back those days of peak hip hop rap in Cameroon.
The days where Jovi and Stanley Enow were booming the industry.
Where Mic Monsta and Pascal were the next to the drone.
Where Kikoh, Young Holiday, Ngoma, Skidi Boy were not silenced on creating impact by talking through the Microphone.
Where songs like Chokor, Balluk pikin, atanga nji paul were hits even without us knowing the names of the artists who delivered such master pieces.
BRING BACK THIS ERA
