Unoriginal but obvious: the truly crazy thing about BLM, hoteps, the last few "waves" of feminism, the alt-right response to all this, etc. is that almost no one is truly "oppressed" today. Oppression, in all directions - of women, native POC, Irishmen, immigrants - likely sits at its lowest level ever, at least in the West. But, because 110-IQ Communists once successfully billed this thing that ~no longer exists as the sole possible cause of all group performance gaps, people never stop TALKING about it.

They're not insane. They are evil leftists who want to destroy our current society. They want us dependent on mass transit, because mass transit is government transit.

@xwanyex This is a bit of a different issue. If ur a man and u hit a rough patch financially (and of a certain age, perhaps permanently) and can't afford market rent, ur out on the street with nowhere to go. Women dont have that problem. There are plenty of programs/shelters for them.

This is a good example of what I was talking about yesterday. This is a world vie that doesn’t see all the individual actors as part of a system of incentives, as free people making free choices. Like, who owns the housing, who pays for the housing, who pays opportunity costs, where does the housing come from, why does it get built in the first place, why does it look like it does, why does it exist in the exact location it does, why does anybody rent out houses at all, why does our system look like it does, and so on and so on and so on. None of these questions are interesting to a leftist, because the leftist has less curiosity about the world than my five-year-old. No, all that happened here is that some guy was made homeless. Why does this particular guy have any claim to this particular house? Does he have any particular claim? Does that make any sense? Should we work this out in a court? (This was an eviction, so it already was worked out in a court.) No, again, this guy should just get to stay there because to do otherwise is to make him homeless. It’s the worldview of a child.

Just explain to the woman that divorce, benefits from you, etc are not her call. You didn't sign up for a buddy, and are out. She'll magically focus on loving you again - or just...leave, and BE a regular casual friend or occasional opponent in court. None of this is complex, and only male mis-conceptions of chivalry hold it back.

It's cruel and downright evil for women to turn off sex when married. Just divorce the man and let him find someone who actually loves him.

Just make gyms separate for men and women all across the country. See how many women actually go to women-only gyms. So many women-only gyms had to literally shut down because women weren’t going there. They want attention from men. Also, banning men from a certain area, isn’t that sexism? It seems like we’re moving backward. Men built those gyms, most of the donors to that college would be men, men pay more taxes, but sure, ban men from gyms. To make fat entitled feminists happy, now men have to be treated like second-class citizens.

Biggest "the kids are fucked" moment I've had recently was buying a car Walked into the dealership, told them what I wanted and said I'd pay up-front. Expected them to be thrilled Instead they were horrified. Spent the next 20 minutes trying to get me to finance it at some absurd rate Got me curious so after I left I read about car sale profit models. Apparently most US dealerships make more financing now than from the cars themselves I was such a boomer I assumed they'd want CASH In reality they want your ETERNAL SLAVERY at 19% APR

The psychological profession is openly discriminatory against men. Its that simple.
Chris Ferguson 🇺🇸🎇🎆@CJFerguson1111

This seems like an example of people who seemed reasonable in 2020, now mirroring what they used to despise. Creating a "safe space" for men in psychology? That sounds like exactly the kinds of things woke folks wanted for say, black people or LGBT folks in 2020. Now this "affirmative action" is a good idea so long as it's for dudes? It seems the weakness in what she is saying is "assuming talent is distributed equally", but wasn't that something we were saying wasn't necessarily true? Indeed, we might expect some talents and interests to differ significantly between the sexes. I may also be lucky with my colleagues (and students) in my department, but I can't remember once thinking, "I would be a lot happier at work if only not for all the damned women." That's crazy. Just as with race, I think we have a lot more similarities than differences and what differences we have are interesting, not barriers to happiness. Now for therapy specifically, I think it would be great to have more men to get more diversity in perspective. As for women therapists, I don't think the problem is having women therapists; the problem is groups like the APA telling all therapists to treat traditional masculinity as "toxic" which is bad advice. But is it just me, or did people 6 years ago basically say that with freedom we'd expect to see some sex sorting into careers that's natural...and now it's unnatural and something we need regulation of some sort to force back to 50/50...exactly the program of the woke? Thoughts?
