Earlier this morning RCMP advised the school to secure its building due to an investigation in the neighbourhood. The school has been given the all-clear by RCMP and classes are resuming as normal.

Our Ski Trip has been cancelled for Monday, February 4th due to weather. It has been rescheduled for Thursday March 28th.

The week of Jan 21 - 25 is Spirit Week at ES Laird. Monday is PJ Day, Tuesday is Western Day, Wednesday is Hat Day, Thursday is Exploratory morning and our dance, and Friday is Sabre colour day and Hot Hoops Basketball tournament begins! #onceasabrealwaysasabre

We are looking forward to showing Screenagers this week. Students will view on Tuesday and there will be a public viewing Wednesday January 16 at 7:00 at ES Laird. Our SCC meeting is also this week on Thursday January 17 at noon with guest Constable Grant Kirzinger.
