Now this is interesting! This is never actually something I considered but IMO I think this is definitely something worth looking into. I don’t completely understand the pathophysiology and biochemistry of why seed oil consumption would lead to weakness and degeneration of various ligaments and tendons but I’m hoping someone is willing to look it - extensively. 75% of ACL tears are non-contact, meaning that the ACL itself was already loose and on the brink of tearing. Whenever it happened, that instance just happened to when the ‘straw broke the camel’s back.’ ACL tears are life-changing, often permanently in one way or another. For as far as our medicine and technology has come, it hasn’t seemed to have positively impacted the ACL tear rate. We need answers and it’s time to start looking in new places. As crazy as it sounds, there may be something to this! Please someone - a medical student, physician, researcher, whoever - look into this!!!!

NEWS: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss has been granted a sixth season of eligibility by a state court judge in Mississippi. Chambliss received an injunction today, which paves the way for him to play in 2026 after the NCAA ruled he was eligibility. (The NCAA can appeal.)
