ESPRESSO Science Team

This week the ESPRESSO science team (us!) is meeting at the beautiful #Lanzarote island to discuss the awesome science we have been doing in the past years and the prospects for the future. Great science to come! Stay tuned.

Indeed, its location in the mass-radius diagram is pretty unique. Only other 5 planets inhabit this region of the diagram, showing an emerging population of thick-atmosphere super-Earths. Could you imagine the pressure and temperature at the rocky surface?

Paper day from the ESPRESSO Science Consortium team! Today, Amadeo (@castro_gzlz) presents a very interesting discovery of an inflated super-Earth, a rare type of worlds that seem to start becoming a population. We summarise the role of ESPRESSO (but check Amadeo's thread!)
