@esqueleto Talk to who about what? I am not employed there nor core member. I develop independent many libraries for Avalonia. Also they focus only on commercial issues that’s what they publicly state so it’s pointless unless I would pay them to fix but why pay when one can fix it himself?

Now someone is telling I can't change the license on my own personal project, next level of entitlement, while they are moving projects to closed source for better of community. I was trapped once by his smooth talk into NDA and will regret this contact for the rest of my life.

@wieslawsoltes Are you on Codex also? Me too ... after more than half a year with ClaudeCode ... last month I decided to try Codex. It's not that I didn't like it. Codex can do a lot of the heavy lifting, BUT (there is always a but), I have the feeling I need to carry him through everything.

@esqueleto I use Codex most of the time, I played a bit with Claude Code but I find Codex is best at handling most complex features and fixes, Claude Code is nice but for my work Codex always produced better results.

Sometimes Codex struggles so much to fix some things, but its mostly lack of SKILL to run apps and properly diagnose performance, in theory it could be done but testing UI isn't trivial, so manual quick dotTrace run and pasting hot paths does the magic.

@wieslawsoltes This is what has been most of my job today... explain clients that have a junior will not have the same success than a experienced developer

@esqueleto Its true you still need the dev skills, probably even more to handle such large code outputs.

The era of IDE for coding is over, command line is enough, I only open IDE for debugging but that will probably change soon too.
