I was contracted to audit the HR department of an organization.
During the process, I discovered they had some ghost workers on the payroll.
The Group MD is over 75 years old and didn’t know because they have over 200 staff.
The CFO and COO were cashing out over 4 million monthly from ghost workers on the payroll.
I uncovered it and got both of them sacked.
Both positions were held by women.
