etched.page just had a major backend overhaul. It now processes that massive 808k transaction block in about 12 seconds. It even runs on a 2.49€/month server and stays in sync with the BSV network on it's own👀

Etched @EtchedPage is one of the early(since 2019) utility application on bsv provides archive service and still in operation. Also you may use @arktobitcoin2 to directly archive twitter threads onto bsv. In this era of massive censorship, they're valuable and deserves spreading.

If you put it on @arkstreams using @arktobitcoin2 or @EtchedPage or better just use @twetchapp to @Twitter. there is no time value on Twitter, it can’t handle historic records that might change the future of history.

We need functional tools to simplify the process. @EtchedPage allows any web page on the public internet to be “etched” on chain forever. This way, inconvenient truths (like the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto) can never be rewritten by the “Internet Archive” again.

. @arkstreams added etched into their app with zero server communication other than the BSV blockchain. This is the power of Bitcoin. An even playing field with no walled gardens.

@EtchedPage grows on me day by day to archive the many interesting web pages that would likely be gone within days.

@VJRiddell etched does not support RSS feeds today unfortunately. This is an opportunity for a new service like WeatherSV to automatically detect RSS changes for news sites and publishes them on-chain.

@EtchedPage I have an idea (and limited coding skillzz). Lots of etched.page(s) are political. Some news cites often change their headlines after the fact and act as if nothing was wrong. Is it possible to etch RSS streams? I.e edition.cnn.com/services/rss/ RT / BBC / ABC / etc

It's fascinating how some people litterally cannot comprehend why BSV exists. They have absolutely no clue. This is some major information asymmetry.

@bitcoinsteffen @OldCraig @twetchapp Right now etched only scrapes static web pages so it doesn't fetch all the dynamically loaded images. You can paste in each picture url if you want to save them individually.

@_Kevin_Pham @EtchedPage Thank you! Awesome. Can the site be updated? It's still highly experimential and I make changes nearly every day. Metahandeling Etched is a bit tricky, because it uses no txid or D protocol path, but the hash of the site. Still have to find a way.
