Anti-AI folks be mad b/c we're vive coding and getting apps ready as individuals instead of a big team. But... Do they know what it's like to do this every day until very late at night b/c we have full time jobs and families? It's not a hack. It's a power tool.

First of all its so funny that AI generated music and videos cannot be copyrighted Second this just isn’t impressive to me. If anyone can just put out an AI music video without effort then why would I be impressed? If someone actually spent the time filming, directing, editing then that would actually be impressive because of how much time and effort they put into it. People care about quality not how fast you can put something out

@IsThisRealArt_ They deserve is better philosophy. Know your Ontology and Axiology, and the "slop" label dies pretty fast. Not all AI is slop. Not all slop is only AI. Some ways of thinking and looking at the world in such binary and naive way... is also slop.

This sucks so much, please be a good parent and give your kids proper entertainment. They deserve better than slop.

@TheXenderman @EZE3D AI made me stupider, so AI makes all people stupider, is a.... non-sequitur conclusion. But, there is definitely an inherent problem with anything that enhances a part of our humanity, just as cars and fast food have made us fatter, or calculators made me forget how to math 👀

I actually have firsthand experience with this when i got a CAI addiction for a year that sapped my creativity, energy, and made me frustrated artistically.I quit 6 months ago, which weirdly enough is the time when my art started improving again

This is the opposite of epic... People don't want fake trailers for games that don't exist, they want real trailers for things that they can actually play.

The anti-AI crew gets another thing wrong. It's not just that the tech can do so much that humans can do. BUT that now a one-man team can reach production level that is only achieved by a large team (which means more financial resources, etc.).

This is why philosophy should have been taught more: Human art has high Ontological dignity (direct soul). AI art can achieve high Aesthetic excellence, but remains ontologically secondary. A child’s sketch is more "real" (Ontology) than AI, even if less "beautiful" (Aesthetics).

@eternalarchtype @desgamesyt when u buy a digital version of the game u aren’t actually buying it to own it ur just renting it in the long run. if u aren’t able to connect to psn u can’t play ur game. no internet no game even if it’s downloaded to ur console. n it appears the same with hard copies too

I’ve also been experimenting with this, and I can confirm that if your CMOS battery dies, any digital game with the timer becomes unplayable again, even if the console is set as the primary. This is a digital game I purchased with money yesterday. I didn’t claim it with PS Plus.

@eternalarchtype @JuanMoreDad Tbh I'm more likely to follow & support a humble indie project from a dad wanting to make a cool thing with his kid than something trying to be AAA leveraging gen AI. Be proud of your own work, improvement takes practice, ideas require experience & knowledge, there's no shortcuts

@EZE3D I followed you in case I remember this conversation one day when, hopefully, I finish the demo. My plan is to do a VERY short one, with my own story, but using AI with the crap I can't do myself. I tried 2 times, before AI, so maybe 3rd time's the charm.

@eternalarchtype Here's the thing, I just told you prove me wrong. This is coming from a place of experience btw, not an Anti AI stance, it's an anti scam stance, fake trailers are bad for games as a whole and I disagree that it's good for conceptualizing, you can disagree. 🤷‍♂️

@TheMG3D It depends on who you ask. For many, it would take us to be literal geniuses (exist but rare; I'm NOT one of them!) to be able to do SO many things that AI allows us to make Even before AI I did all the things I do with AI now. Except now they are not cheesy quality 😭😅

Ai bros I have a question, why don’t you want to learn actual skills to be an artist? Why go to AI? It is so much more fulfilling to create something yourself rather than have something made for you. It would benefit you more to learn and understand a skill like drawing instead of asking an AI to do it for you

@eternalarchtype AI is a crutch, go research the real world & history, no need for AI to conceptualize. You can call it opinion difference but fake AI game trailers will erode trust, create unrealistic expectations & homogenizing ideas, if you disagree prove me wrong & make an AI inspired game.

Almost all threats I receive are from Catholics. Whether you’re blunt or gentle, Catholics get very aggressive. This is why I bluntly tell them they are wrong and need to repent of Catholicism. Trust Alone in Christ Alone. He is sufficient.
