Me and the lads have been shitting away stakeholder value today re: the Kiff carousel madness. Couple of thoughts to share: 1) Kiffin not addressing the vacancies is completely standard. It’s a leverage tactic and is PR Training 101 for any coach represented by Jimmy Sexton 2) The notion that Kiffin “can’t win big” in Oxford is so fucking stale. It’s reminiscent of the piece of swiss cheese rotting on the school basketball court in Diary of a Wimpy kid. He had arguably the best roster in school history last year. One that DOMINATED a playoff-team in the Georgia Bulldogs. Talent being the issue, and even further, the program having hit a “ceiling” is simply put, absurd. 3) Kiffin has carte blanche at Ole Miss, and is unequivocally, the poster child of the program, that can do zero wrong. We knew the potential of last year’s team, and dropped inexcusable games to keep us out of the playoff. and how many people called for his head? A resounding ZERO. That won’t happen at Florida. Not because they’re a better program (see all years post Last Friday Night by Katy Perry being the #1 song in America) but because the fanbase is incredibly impatient. 4) Florida claiming ultimate CFB supremacy without a single example of on-field success to substantiate it, from the year of our lord, 2009, until now, is also stale. Yes the resources are there, but there is not a shred of evidence to prove that it is overwhelmingly above what he has at Ole Miss. Is there more? Sure. But he would not have access to them at will like he does at OM. Meaning, how the cake is cut would not be up to him like it is here. 5) Trust Keith Carter. We are privileged to have an AD at the helm who has exuded nothing but confidence and dedication to making us a contender in all 3 sports. Some people wanted Luke Fickell. Yes, that Luke Fickell, in lieu of Kiffin in 2019. He hired Chris Beard, who was said to be untouchable, and it may go down as one of the best hires of the decade. In the event Kiffin leaves (I’m 50/50 on it), you should take solace in knowing that our AD has a brain between his ears, and this is a top 15 job in the country. We’ll get a dude. 6) I’m over the flirting. How many more 10 win seasons and top 5 portal classes, national media coverage, etc. must happen before Kiffin comes out like Cignetti and plants his flag in Oxford, proudly, as the last stop? We do this every year, and it tells me he isn’t sure about it. If so, go see if the grass is greener. Maybe it is, but it’s likely that it isn’t. 7) He built the ship here, best said Bradley Sowell. This is his baby. If you go to UF, you are a rental. A temporary figurehead for a program built long before you. Saban built Alabama (don’t gimme that Bear Bryant shit), Kirby built GA. Why not stake your claim where you’ve supposedly found your why? 8) If he does leave, save your stress for January, because it won’t happen until then. No sense in refreshing the boards every two minutes, or theorizing until it becomes concrete. We have a program here, and I want Lane to lead it. But do you really think it’s Chernobyl otherwise?

Officials said the nest was safely removed and the public is not at risk. However, Tom Clements of Savannah River Site Watch warned of a potentially more troubling cause suggesting the wasps may have collected radioactive material from deeper within the 300-square-mile site, which once produced plutonium and tritium for nuclear weapons.
