That rate is probably an undercount on my part. At least 100 people arrived in the last ten minutes. Polls open for another 5.5 hours.

136 minute wait at the University of Nevada, Reno polling site. I'm counting and about 6-7 people, 95% of them students, are joining the line every minute. The kids are alright.

@JonBoeckenstedt There was lots of talk about this in the early 60s too.

Why hasn't anyone ever suggested this (every year, at least once, since 1996)?

It may seem like a small semantics thing, but community colleges ARE colleges, not a stepping stone to college. Lots of good research in this article, but I really encourage folks to be careful about language that makes it seem like community college isn't "real" college.
