Thank you to everyone who participated! There was not enough interest/demand to justify launching the DAO in the current state. For anyone who deposited, we will send you your ETH back today. We will update you here shortly when the refunds are complete. The team is going back to the drawing board to figure out what's next for Strategy DAOs.

During the testing phase of the protocol and before the announcement of the launch, the UI was misconfigured, allowing users to deposit to the wrong address. In this short amount of time, 165 ETH was deposited by users to the incorrect address. The UI was fixed immediately. We have since sent 165 ETH into the deposit contract, making everyone whole. Those depositors will receive their corresponding ETHSR shortly. Depositors have been made whole, the deposit contract is safe, the UI is configured correctly and is safe, and existing depositors are not affected. The response from the community has been awesome. Nothing has changed, ETH will win!

ETH will convert to $ETHSR immediately with a unit conversion of 1:30,000. $ETHSR transfers will be paused until the ETH and ownership is transferred to the governor contract. The funds will be held in a 2/4 multisig until the contracts are fully audited and reviewed. The process may take some time, so only deposit if you're comfortable with waiting.

Deposits are live for everyone included in the whitelist up until the cap of 10,000 ETH is reached! ethsr.xyz

EthStrategy deposits open tomorrow (Jan 30th) at 4pm ET. Here’s how it’s going to work: Whitelisters will be able to deposit into a vault that has a maximum capacity of 10,000e. After completion an additional 10,000e open to anyone vault will be deployed.

EthStrategy will be a fair launch. In the interest of fairness, there will be no more whitelist. Deposits will be handled on a first come first served basis with a vault level cap of 10K ETH. Follow and turn on alerts to be alerted when it’s time to deposit.

The level of enthusiasm for ETHStrategy has been overwhelming. We are working to increase accessibility for everyone and improve mechanism documentation. External audits will be conducted before the full protocol launches. EthStrategy codebase will be free and open source forever.
