I work for the best admin team at the best school ever! Look what they snuck onto my yard today. This means a lot to me....I don’t live near my school!

A5 part 2: I’m a rebel at heart so here is that side of me...I also think teachers would do better if they had voice and choice. #scucit

A5: hearing my students voice has always been easy for me. It’s the choice that’s hard but this week I will relook my lessons and search for choice options. #scucit

A4: showing mutual respect for each other’s ideas and opinions is important. This fosters an atmosphere of risk taking which in turn improves the desire to take ownership of voice and choice. #scucit

A3: one of the biggest struggles I’ve faced this year is the new ELA standards. I feel like I’m learning with the kids. There is so much to fit in I can’t always give choice. Beauty of teaching...it’s a process. #scucit

A2: I often say that a relationship with students s paramount to success. Voice and choice is a great way to build on relationships. #scucit

A1: kids want to be heard and they want an active role in their learning. The more I let go the better they do. #scucit
