@jeff_gluck I feel much better. Tried to keep an open mind going into the trial, but the progress of the case was looking gloomy for NASCAR. I feared about the outcome if the two sides could not come to a settlement. Now that a settlement has been reached, things are looking up.

I’m just sitting here realizing I don’t really have a sense of what you all think about the settlement. I know how I feel about it, but what about you? How are you feeling about the state of NASCAR at this moment?

@jeff_gluck Does this impact Xfinity and Truck series as well? Remember last year hearing they the lower series had a different data technology than SMT.

Something else I learned via Actions Detrimental today: Apparently it’s not “SMT data” anymore. NASCAR is doing the data now, not SMT. (SMT is the name of a company that provided the data, so everyone called it SMT. It’s the same concept, just different source now.)
