Hockey has the worst off-season of any sport. The draft is like a week after the finals end, free agency is three days later and lasts for like six hours. Then everyone goes on vacation for two months. The NHL might as well not exist until September

Crazy how if Brind-Amours wife wasn’t screwing Eric Lindros he wouldn’t have been traded to Carolina which led to him eventually being hired as coach and winning the cup with them. All comes back to some vadge if you really think about it

@evadbd23 @JFreshHockey He had one 50 point season as a top pair PP1 guy and never even came close to a positive +/- which isn’t damning but is telling. Big, slow, rated higher than he was cuz he was the best player on a bunch of turd rosters. Happy to educate you.

The hit rate on Defenders in the Top 10 is quite poor historically, I’d only Draft them in the first once or twice every decade level of bad. One thing for certain is we’re going to look back at this Draft and a few Teams will have regret and feel shame.

If I were in marketing for Vegas I’d probably want to avoid imagery implying the team does things to people against their will but that’s just me.
