@xercessociety had a great firefly workshop last night at @TumacacoriNPS learning how to survey, identify fireflies and use the firefly atlas! If you are interested in these fascinating insects go out and survey for them! Lots of data needed fireflyatlas.org

Got to go to lydick bog the other day to look for temporal pools for froggie habitats, we didn't find any! Very abnormal for this time of year.. nevertheless still love the bog and exploring Indiana nature while I'm still here!

I've accepted a position with the Scientists in Parks program at the Sonoran Desert Research Center in Tucson, AZ for the next year! Beyond excited to analyze vegetation and wildfire data while accomplishing my dream of living in the desert 😍 😍😍 #meinthedesert #veryexcited
