Been at the hospital 4 Hours now. Been in my own little prison cell with my new clobba on for 3 hours. Just managed to nab a cup of water. Having such an amazing Friday 🤐

@richbcam Hope your ok. I'm at surgical on Friday for a superscapula nerve blocker. I Need something to calm me down with all those dodgy accents turning up at Glentres 🤣🤣

Definitely an interesting 24hrs. A trip to A&E (me this time) with racing HR and high blood pressure. ECG, full bloods, including troponin all clear. Settled eventually and sent home, been fine ever since. Don't mess about with stuff like this - always worth a check!

@Dog_in_a_hat My neighbor is a recently retired mot tester of 30 years. Just spent the last hour on the drive going through everything on the van. Nothing is a fail, he says it's got a minor brake hose corrosion. But nothing that would fail the test. 😡

@evanglis Many years ago I had a similar experience. Car failed on emissions sensor, had to buy a new Cat convertor, £500. Took it to the same place year later, they failed it for the same reason! When I told them about previous year, strangely it passed with no additional work!

Took the van in for its MOT to the same garage I've used for the last 3 years. It's changed ownership. It fails, for poor front disks. I replaced the front disks and pads last summer, vans done 500 miles since. Did they just read the previous mot and decide to shaft me?

Dear bicycle fettlers, any ideas on freeing a stuck seat post. I've bought a 'new' bike and its stuck. Aluminium post and frame. Dowsed it in WD and left to soak at the moment. I won't be putting any heat on the frame, need to maintain the paint. Cheers 😁

First proper ride of the year on Sunday. Heading up to Hamsterley. Time to get the bike sorted tomorrow and dig out all my winter kit. I'm looking forward to it even though I'll probably need to be jet washed as well as the bike 🤣🤣

Saturday's gravel outing turned out to have been a little bit expensive. Supposed to be a 1 piece cassette 🤣. New freehub and cassette ordered 🤨

Been for a full MOT blood test today.. given recent events it's probably best knowing where I am at 43. Should know in a couple of days. Deep breath...
