Our large language model approach outperformed a conventional NLP/supervised machine learning approach by a wide margin. 👀This suggests that large language models can be used to unlock textual analysis in public health research. @lauracprater

I mentioned that our firearm homicide rate is more than 100x higher than that of England + Wales. But high firearm homicides drive up our overall homicide rate, making the US a stark outlier among developed nations.
