@infinitisirrena That’s 100% okay! Might just be more critical for that team atm based on their project status or (as others mentioned) interviewers are also humans with their own insecurities. :) If the ideas sound fun to you it’s worth learning some but don’t get hung up if its not interesting.

@evanpcox thats def fair!. i have just had really 0 interaction (yet) for a project at work or even thought of a personal project for this. Plus i didn't want to waste anyone's time or mislead anyone. the job description made it sound like it was at the fringes imo

Just got out of an interview that didn't go well, and wanted to ask is it common to have a knowledge of state machines, ik retargeting, and stride warping as a tech anim? i have some knowledge of them, but nothing I've had to work on that required it, so i don't know much. :((
