Kon's game is so reminiscent of early Klay, but I wonder what the development plan is for him? On this team it would be helpful if he became an elite ball handler so he could run more without Melo and BM. I could also see him becoming a solid defender against 2nd and 3rd options

@chisportsross Let's not underplay billys role either. Player development has been stagnant under his watch and the way he uses his players are very questionable. Billy deserves a significant piece of the blame pie but AKME takes the biggest slice still.

we gotta have a sanity check. Billy Donovan is not worse than Jim Boylen, nor is he one of the worst coaches. He’s not one of the top coaches either, but I think his role in the Bulls’ shortcomings is being overblown. FO and ownership’s roster management… not putting that on BD.

The real win for Apple is that they're so natively tied to Google services that the deal with Google on Gemini was a no brainer. Inking a licensing deal to sherlock, Microsoft and OpenAI was a real power move. Now Apple has all that user insight + will do the same with Gemini.

Wouldn't call Tim a winner in this one. Big investors wanted to cash in on the hype instead of the incremental gains. They wanted to force him out not that long ago. However, sticking to his guns allowed him to stay above the muck and deploy a creative solution.

@MarzTalksSports I agree with you 80% of the way. I think in certain offenses w/ certain player types, it's invaluable. Ex: when one of Franz/Paolo is on the floor, a floor stretching 5 on the weakside or top of the key, prevents defenses from sending help and messing up backside rotations.
