Hi, my name is Daisy, and I want to share a little bit about why I started this page: Strength & Serenity. I’m a middle-aged woman in my late 40s. I got married very young, and within a year, I gave birth to my daughter. Life moved fast, I had two kids with a five-year age gap, and like many mothers, I never really focused on myself. My whole world revolved around my family, and I never thought much about my health. But slowly, my body started to show signs. I was always tired, my digestion was weak, and I often felt low on energy. I thought maybe that was just how life is when you get older. I kept ignoring the signs, pushing through, until one day, my back gave out completely. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t sit for more than two minutes. After tests, I was diagnosed with a herniated disc. The doctor suggested surgery, but he also said there was no guarantee the problem wouldn’t return. That sentence stayed with me. I was scared, not just of the surgery, but of losing my independence. I refused the operation and decided to try another way. But truth be told, my body was very weak; years of neglect had caught up with me. I had calcium and vitamin deficiencies, and my bones were fragile. I had to take 3 months of complete bed rest before I could even begin physiotherapy. That time was hard. I had never felt so helpless. But something shifted in me. I made a decision, a promise to myself, that I would rebuild my health, slowly and naturally. I started learning about nutrition, proper supplementation, and simple things like yoga and stretching. At first, I couldn’t walk more than 10 minutes, but today, I can walk for an hour, without any lumber support. That’s why I started this page. Because I know there are so many men & women like me who give everything to their families, and only start thinking about their health once things get really bad. I want to tell you: you don’t have to wait for that point. Start now! with better food, more movement, and some care for your mental health, too. Because physical health means nothing without a peaceful mind. This page, Strength & Serenity, is my way of helping others the way I wish someone had helped me. Through my everyday tips, I hope to make wellness feel simple, approachable, and possible, no matter your age or starting point. And if you’ve read this far, I just want to say, it’s never too late to take your first step. Your body is wiser than you think. The moment you plant that thought in your mind that you want to be well, your healing begins. If my story resonates with you, and you’d like to join me on this journey, please follow my page Strength & Serenity @fitwithdaisy Let’s walk together, with strength and serenity! 🤍

I was today years old when a well-known crypto founder told me they can’t pay me the industry standard for a marketing role because I’m based in India. I didn't confront. I just moved on.
