Marte’s an odd choice for a platoon bat given he’s been better against righties than lefties over his career (and last year).

Look since I’m seeing this photo all over, I’ll provide the context. Team had huddled. Bill and DP had been talking quite a bit back and forth. DP was frustrated with game and refs. He didn’t see huddle and was on other side. Guys were motioning for him to hustle back and join the huddle and he just walked back while guys waited. I had time to pull out phone and click. Photo definitely a point in time and should not be used to say more than it was. But it also symbolized the game a bit. DP looked hurt and bothered. Team had very little energy. Rough week. Get healthy and turn it around Monday.
