Misogyny, transphobia, racism, and greed won today. At its core, fear. Fear prevailed over everything else. Friends, family, local business owners, teachers, preachers, neighbors will celebrate today along with the KKK and the worst dictators on earth. It’s okay to mourn that.

As you go to vote this morning on Election Day, I will leave you with one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most important quotes: "I was Donald's Closest Friend!" Vote wisely and make sure you can explain it to your kids.

Be on the right side of history today. Don’t vote for the guy who said he wants “his people” to behave as North Koreans do when in their dictators presence. He’s using you, like little pawns, and you’re falling for it.

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr It was removing a pregnancy so I could have a chance at living the rest of my life. I also was a nanny for 10+ years. I would have run in front of a moving car for any of those children and happily given up my life. It’s not the same. Legality is what has to be discussed.

Breaking News: Christians are only allowed to wear cross necklaces. And we can only be against abortion with lip service and NOT by supporting things that actually prevent abortions, like IUDs.

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Are we debating legality or morality? Because I don’t see it morally as “killing a child” and we’re not going to agree on that front. For example, I had an ectopic pregnancy - I chose to have it removed (abortion care) because I was at risk of dying. That was not killing my child

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Should parents be legally required to donate their organs to their children when the children are adults if their child will die without organ donation?

They don’t, and no one claims they do, and that’s not a scenario that ever happens. But with a baby, the mother and father willingly* engaged in an act that led to conception, and the mother AND father are both responsible to care for and protect the life of their child. *Excluding rape, which represents about 5% of abortions.

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr If we all have the same rights, then unborn babies have the same right to life that you and I have.

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr I will certainly not reconsider bodily autonomy. Fetuses (or we can call them babies, I don’t care) do not get special privileges over everyone else. We all have the same rights.

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr So just to be clear, do I understand you correctly that in your view the termination of a pregnancy at any stage is morally equivalent to an appendectomy?

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Same as I would any other medical procedure, such as an appendix removal. It should be only done via consent or if a doctor has to make a call to save the patients life. And it should be done by medical practitioners.

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr I was trying to make sure I understood what you were saying. Are there any types of abortion that you believe are immoral and should be unlawful?

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr I just said why when I compared it to preventing cancer or heart attack or any other health issue. It saves time and money. I’m not sure how this is so difficult for you to understand? No one is excited about medical procedures.
