Oh so we’re just being openly misogynistic. Imagine being so afraid of knowledge that you have to demonize women for having/seeking it. The truth would *never* be afraid of questions 😘

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr It was removing a pregnancy so I could have a chance at living the rest of my life. I also was a nanny for 10+ years. I would have run in front of a moving car for any of those children and happily given up my life. It’s not the same. Legality is what has to be discussed.
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr Not at all. But that’s not remotely the same as literally killing their child in utero.
English

Breaking News: Christians are only allowed to wear cross necklaces. And we can only be against abortion with lip service and NOT by supporting things that actually prevent abortions, like IUDs.
Ginna Cross@GinnaCross
Just your average, run of the mill “Christian” wearing an IUD necklace instead of a cross.
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Are we debating legality or morality? Because I don’t see it morally as “killing a child” and we’re not going to agree on that front. For example, I had an ectopic pregnancy - I chose to have it removed (abortion care) because I was at risk of dying. That was not killing my child
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Should parents be legally required to donate their organs to their children when the children are adults if their child will die without organ donation?
English

They don’t, and no one claims they do, and that’s not a scenario that ever happens.
But with a baby, the mother and father willingly* engaged in an act that led to conception, and the mother AND father are both responsible to care for and protect the life of their child.
*Excluding rape, which represents about 5% of abortions.
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr What grown human has the right to stay attached to another human’s organs without consent?
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr If we all have the same rights, then unborn babies have the same right to life that you and I have.
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr I will certainly not reconsider bodily autonomy. Fetuses (or we can call them babies, I don’t care) do not get special privileges over everyone else. We all have the same rights.
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr I hope you’ll reconsider that position. It entails the callous consent to millions of unborn humans being killed in their mother’s womb.
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr The video goes into my exact perspective - but the bottom line is no human should be legally forced to donate the use of their organs to another human. Fetus or grown man.
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr I’m not sure what hosting a grown man would entail, but “fetus” is just the term for a stage of human development. Do you deny the humanity of the unborn?
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr If you’re actually interested in my full opinion on abortion here I am talking about it in ways that short form cannot convey: youtube.com/watch?v=y5-1kg…

English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr So just to be clear, do I understand you correctly that in your view the termination of a pregnancy at any stage is morally equivalent to an appendectomy?
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Same as I would any other medical procedure, such as an appendix removal. It should be only done via consent or if a doctor has to make a call to save the patients life. And it should be done by medical practitioners.
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr I was trying to make sure I understood what you were saying.
Are there any types of abortion that you believe are immoral and should be unlawful?
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr I just said why when I compared it to preventing cancer or heart attack or any other health issue. It saves time and money. I’m not sure how this is so difficult for you to understand? No one is excited about medical procedures.
English

@JOlthoff58 @aprilajoyr And nowhere does April mention doing that. Stop lying.
English

I love Jesus and voted for Kamala.
Joshua Haymes@haymes_joshua
If you love Jesus Christ you don’t vote for Kamala Harris.
English

@JacobE2Good @aprilajoyr This has to be satire coming from someone with trump as their profile pic
English

@aprilajoyr You do not follow Christ. You follow a fake idol. Read the Bible. 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse 9. It says also in the very next verse everyone can be forgiven
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Because it’s pragmatic. Same reason it’s good to prevent cancer and heart attacks.
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr From your perspective, why is preventing abortions great?
English

@eve_wasframed @aprilajoyr A threat from a lefty? And water is wet.
English

@jwsherrod @aprilajoyr Preventing abortions is great. I don’t know anyone (other than super religious weirdos) that disagree. Why would we?
English

@aprilajoyr Do you think it’s a good thing to prevent abortions, April?
