@climateaidil Penang once considered calling its proposed three artificial islands "BiodiverCity". An insult considering that it will destroy the entire southern coast of mudflat and active fishing area. Now with one island reclamation underway, it's been rebranded to Silicon Island.

I will never understand the idea of a Forest City in Malaysia that’s meant to emulate a new sustainable city (despite destroying the environment to develop it) when there are communities whose tradition, heritage & cultures have been doing sustainability for the longest time.
