I doubt it. Too-specialized a bot cannot be refurbished to work other locations. Humanoid-Robots can work in existing facilities made for Humans or Humans can replace HumBots when they don't work. That being said, when it comes to warehouse floors, I do see these quad-bots that just move pallets and such alongside a network of similar bots being incredibly successful and displacing warehouse workers.

@EveryCarpet @totallynotabird @u_m_a_m_i ups is not going to buy hundreds of these for each location to then move them, they are going to want dedicated hard wired specialized sorters. will likely not be humanoid in anyway and faster than this. prob easier/cheaper to repair as well.

@SilverLegionary @GrantMa25066011 I was under the impression that White Southerners continued to vote for (Dixie)crats federally and gubernatorially until ~2001 and 2012 at the latest whereas they shifted their down-ballot voting to R.

My theory as to why southern R’s are such wuss’s is that most of ‘em had Dixiecrat parents or were even Dixiecrats themselves back in the day. But as a Zoomer with Republican parents/grandparents, I have 0 attachment to the Democratic Party and just wanna see it nuked from orbit.

During the Biden administration, H-1B visa holders were buying houses with 97-100% financing. 97% would come from the FHA, with the rest coming from state first-time home buyer programs. Zero money down. Thanks to programs that were supposed to be helping low-income American families buy their own homes. FHA loans to non-permanent residents quickly grew to represent 6% of mortgage issuances. The percentage was undoubtedly higher in places like the DFW area, where H-1B visa holders are disproportionately concentrated. I don’t have anything against people in America on H-1B visas. I’ve said it before—and I’ll say it again—that I’ve found many of them to be great people on an individual level, and I wish them all nothing but the best. Individual immigrants—especially those here legally—are not at fault for flawed US immigration policy. But this might be the most radicalizing thing I’ve ever seen. Not only are American workers forced to compete for jobs, they’re also forced to compete in the housing market against people bringing 0-3% of a house’s cost to the closing table, versus the 10-20% most people have to pay. First, companies import mass numbers of H-1B visa holders, largely in "back office" white-collar fields like IT and accounting. This essentially imposes a lower ceiling on domestic wages in these job categories. Next, these workers—who are generally concentrated in certain geographic areas—create more demand for housing (especially in good school districts), driving up home prices and the cost of living. Then, to top it off, they don’t even have to save up money for a down payment. They can close on a $500k house with $0-15k plus a 97% FHA loan. Meanwhile, ordinary American families are forced to come to with $50-100k for the same down payment. I don’t care how you feel about Trump or what your preferred immigration policies are; there’s no defending this. It screws over hard-working American citizens several different ways over, and it’s yet another reason why I will always be glad Trump won and Kamala Harris lost in 2024.

We basically did NINJA loans again but this time with non-US citizens Many homebuilders, such as Bloomfield Homes in Celina, TX offered access to FHA loans for H-1B visa holders through their preferred lenders until May of 2025, when Trump had HUD shut these lending practices down Some of these FHA loans offered 100% financing through a combination of a standard FHA loan and access to State assisted first time homebuyer grants for the 3% downpayment Yes, you read that correctly, your tax dollars funded home-buying grants for non-US Citizens during the Biden administration Is it just a coincidence that home prices began falling at a rapid pace in Celina, TX almost immediately after Trump shut this program down? How many people bought a brand new home with zero money down at peak 2022-2024 pricing? You won’t see an impact at a national level, but you WILL see it in certain markets with a lot of H-1B tech workers and new construction

Inhibitor Chips ruin the Clones. The Prophecy of the Chosen One was ancient Jedi and Sith seeing the future and not a genuine, by-the-Force, prophecy. Anakin's fall to the Dark Side was not inevitable. George Lucas' view on the Force is no longer relevant as he sold Star Wars. If the Force is sentient and aware, it deserves to be killed. If the Force is not sentient and aware, then the Sith at least do not stand by and allow a force of physics to constrain them for the 'greater good', even if that greater good is only chosen to achieve personal and political power. TCW Jedi deserved Order 66 Luke should have been imprisoned for lying about his and Leia's ancestry, alongside 'redeeming' a man which killed billions and subjected trillions to tyranny Leia discovering her ancestry should have had her experience a breakdown and deeply strain her relationship with Luke, who 'saw the good' in Vader Anakin has DID and Vader is not a separate individual in the biological or spiritual senses the Rebellion won the GCW too quickly in both Legends and Canon. Yuuzhan Vong are cool, actually. They force every faction's weaknesses to the surface and for each of them to betray their principles to survive. Bo-Katan being a genuine player in Canon Sequels is beyond ridiculous (64 years old) and she should have died at Mandalore Ahsoka surviving Order 66, let alone TCW, was not a good idea. OR just have her be Obi-Wan's apprentice instead of Anakin's. Canon Sequels Luke is a good analogue for how George Lucas felt about Star Wars during/after the Prequels Finn was going to be the Jedi but Disney changed it because they wanted TFA to do better in the Chinese market and the Chinese hate Africans. I don't think a Force-sensitive Finn could have evaded detection in the First Order as a Stormtrooper so his character would have to be rewritten (either be outside the First Order or be some sort of Inquisitor/Knight of Ren) but Boyega-- and every actor in those films-- deserved better As the Sequels were, Kylo should have came to the Light and Rey should have fallen to the Dark Maul should have stayed dead in TPM I know it was for budgetary concerns but having the majority of battles during TCW be fought by Clones instead of a hodgepodge of volunteers and conscripts based on whatever laws the Republic and Confederate systems had is more akin to a galactic-scale total war They should release a political thriller that does not have a singular blaster or lightsaber fight set between TPM and AOTC centered on Padme. De-age Portman if you cannot find an adequate actress. S1 pre-Senator, S2-6 Senator, S7 the final year of TCW or a political thriller following Palpatine as a Senator that does not in any way elude he is Sidious except for a few throwaway lines about "taking a sabbatical" or "conducting research".

No Skywalkers in 400aby because the last descendants of the Bloodline™️ are co-founders of the Othodox Jedi Order, which went back to the old attachment rules. So they didn’t have kids.

the best solution would be just to give us DS9 set prior, during, and after TCW A Judicial contingent, station staff, civilians, etc. on an Inner Rim station. When TCW starts, we add a Jedi strategist, maybe a Padawan, and a Clone Captain/Commander alongside a non-Clone Republic Intelligence Officer As many practical effects as possible.
