@mxmx9842 Satoko's motive is cheap, but it at least means she's invested in subjecting Rika to her time loop torture, and emphasizes the relationship between protag and antagonist. If Sotsu had been any good, it could have gone somewhere interesting for both characters. Sorry for the rant

@mxmx9842 but Takano's relationship with Rika is tenuous, and she doesn't feel like an insurmountable obstacle anymore once you know she's just settling for something lesser than her original goal. She kind of ends up like a sopping wet puppy by the end of the story

even though I think GouSotsu is a dumpster fire, I kind of like Satoko more as an antagonist than Takano
