Meet the BDC Instructors!! Meet Evelyn Rynkiewicz, Assistant Professor of Ecology at Fashion Institute of Technology. This spring, Professor Rynkiewicz will be teaching "Biodesign: Innovation at the Intersection of Science and Design"

It's offical! My first big NSF has been awarded. Robin Kimmerer, Stew Diemont, and I will be leading a series of educational opportunities for STEM post-docs as part of a larger program on participatory and Community-Engaged Research coordinated by the inimitable @GeoEdResearch

What are your favorite trees from your life so far? I’ll go first:

@blackforager Bur oaks are my favorite, there are so many beautiful ones in Wisconsin where I’m from. They always look so wise! When I moved to southern Indiana for grad school Sassafras became my next favorite! The leaves are fun and the smells (and the name!).
