@dj_afterburnz It’s nice when we can up with an idea TOGETHER for a final product. I like being able to speak with my clients like friends and work together on something! But with a generated image, I’m just gonna assume that’s exactly what you want and there will barely be any conversation…

@dj_afterburnz As an artist who does commissions, I’d rather someone send me a stick figure drawing than an AI mock up. ESPECIALLY if they generated the image themselves. It is not difficult to go into MS paint and doodle something. I’ve even had people send me pencil to paper drawings. (1/2)

Ngl, this thread kind of opened my eyes,
But also supports exactly what I said earlier about ethical use of AI,
And my piece of wisdom to you guys.
Use AI for concepts. Not the final product.
As long as you’re not using other people’s work into YOUR mockup,
I don’t think artists should be quick to judge on a draft.

what about people who have an AI mock up and seek out a human artist to comission and get turned away cause of the AI mock up? that always has confused me because that’s someone trying to actively have human artist but they have such a stick up thier ass about AI they deny the comm, which in turn only pushes that potential client back to using AI usually

@dj_afterburnz Stick figure mock ups also gives me way more creative freedom and I feel like with a generated image, they are looking for something that looks identical to it and I would probably just end up copying the image in the end :( (2/2)
