This one is extra special. Issue #150 of evo India marks a new chapter. 📖🚗 evo India is no longer just a magazine. It’s now a Mag-Book — a wider, more premium, highly collectible format that sits somewhere between a magazine and a coffee-table book. Think richer paper, lavish spreads, stunning imagery and a design that turns every issue into a piece of automotive memorabilia. And what better way to launch this new era than by rewinding the clock? Our 150th special issue celebrates the 1980s — a decade that shaped India’s motoring culture. From icons like the Hindustan Ambassador, Premier Padmini, Maruti SS80, Contessa and Standard 2000, to the two-wheeled machines that kept the country moving such as the Vijai Super, LML Vespa and Royal Enfield Bullet. It was an era of simple machines, big character and the first sparks of India’s automotive revolution. Get your copy today! evoIndia.com/magazine

One full 11.3km lap, accelerator flat, and the car was running on 100 octane fuel. Once the car was back into the pits, we glanced at the VBOX, got a nod from the FMSCI observer. "2:25.94. A new official NATRAX lap record", said Harshith Merchant.

11.3km of concrete horizon, four lanes wide, with straights that disappear into the distance and banked corners so vast you turn in long before you can see the exit. NATRAX exists for one thing alone — speed.

0 to 100kmph in 3.8 seconds. That’s serious pace for an SUV. But this isn’t a regular SUV – this is a proper performance machine. The Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two takes a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 and turns everyday driving into something far more visceral. Effortless acceleration, instant response and the kind of shove that keeps building, well past the point where most SUVs run out of breath. It’s not just about straight-line numbers either. This V8 gives the SV its character – relaxed when cruising, ferocious when provoked, and endlessly confident whether it’s crossing states or charging down a racetrack. Proof that a Range Rover can still do luxury and comfort, while delivering genuine performance when you ask for it. At ₹2.75 crore (ex-showroom) do you think the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two makes sense? Vote below!

This wasn’t about proving a point in one place. It was about living with the car, understanding it, trusting it — and then pushing it harder than we ever had before. From long road trips to lap records, this was the full SV experience, end to end. We loved living with a performance SUV and proving how it does make space for itself in this segment, and goes up even against traditional sports cars. What’s your opinion? Comment below!

Each circuit showed a different side of the SV. The precision of MIC, the scale and speed of BIC, the technical challenge of Kari, the raw aggression of COASTT, and the full-send, no-compromise brutality of NATRAX. Five episodes, five very different tests — yet the SV never felt out of its depth. Comfortable enough to cross states, brutal enough to chase lap times, and composed enough to do both back to back.

Five race tracks. Thousands of kilometres. One very serious SUV. The Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two wasn’t trailered from circuit to circuit or treated like a fragile showpiece. It was driven. From Pune to Madras, Buddh, Kari, COASTT and finally NATRAX — over 4,000km on Indian roads, fuelled only on 95 and 100 octane, doing highway runs, bad patches, city crawls and everything in between before being unleashed on track.
